The Otago region has made a name globally with it’s most famous export, Pinot Noir. Meet the winemakers of the region whilst visiting the award-winning wineries. The region has a dramatic landscape and diverse climate defined by hot dry summers and freezing winter nights.
There is plenty of history to take in, with traces of the gold rush dating back to the 1860’s. You can also revisit the 1950’s in Ranfurly, a charming art deco inspired town. During the colder months visit Manorburn Dam for a winter wonderland experience where you can ice skate on 30 hectares of natural ice.
